Brigade of gurkhas is one of the collection of Gurkhali.The collection of the British Gurkha Soldiers are Brigade of Gurkhas.The Brigade which is 3,640 strong draws its heritage from the Gurkha units that originally served in the India Army prior to India independence, and prior to that served for the East India Company. The Brigade includes many regiments like Royal Gurkha Rifles(RGR),Queen's Gurkha Engineer( QGE),Queen's Gurkha Single(QGS),Queen's Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment QOGLR and two independent company Band of the Gurkhas, Gurkha staff and personal support are two independent Company. Gurkhali is much famous with Khukuris, a distinctive heavy knife with a curved blade and brave soldiers in the world.
Origins:
During the war in Nepal in 1814, in which the British attempted to Annex Nepal into the Empire,British Army officers were impressed by their bravery and the honesty and they encourage them to volunteer for the East India Company.Gurkhas served as troops of the Company in the Pindaree war of 1817, Nepal in 1826, and the first and second skh wars in 1846 and 1848. During the sepoy mutiny in 1857, The Gurkha Regiment remained loyal and honesty to British so that The Gurkha Regiment became the one the part of the British Indian Army on its information The second Gurkha Rifles (The Sirmoor Rifles) and the 60th Rifles famously defended Hindu Rao's House.

About Regiments:
There are four Regiment in Brigade of Gurkhas and two independent companies. They are Royal Gurkha Rifles (RGR), Queen's Gurkha Engineer (QGE), Queen's Gurkha Single (QGS), Queen's Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment (QOGLR) and Band of Brigade and Gurkha staff and Personal support are two independent companies.

2. Queen Gurkha Engineer (QGE):
QGS stands for Queen Gurkha Engineer, they were first enlisted into the Queen's Gurkha Engineers in september 1948 when a Gurkha Training Squadron RE was formed.
QGE works as a engineer, they helps to destroy the hills, maintenance the bridge, and if necessary then they also use the guns and help for the RGR.

3. Queen's Gurkha Signal (QGS):
QGS stands for Queen's Gurkha Signal.This regiment is also one the part of the Brigade of Gurkhas .The Queen's Gurkha Signal (QGS) is a regular unit of the Royal Corps of Signal, one of the combat support arms of British Army.They plays with auto mobile (okay tokay).If necessary then they also use guns to support for the RGR. They also take the jungle training and others training.

4. The Queen's Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment (QOGLR):
QOGLR stands for Queen Own Gurkha Logistic Regiments.The Queen's Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment also known as 10 Queen's Gurkha Logistic Regiment or 10 QOGLR is a regiment of the British Army.
